Frontend development in Next.js and React: fast and accessible.
From a Figma design to an interface that loads fast, works on every screen and is built to be accessible: semantic HTML, and everything operable by keyboard. As a defined project, or as extra React capacity alongside your own team.

What is frontend development?
Frontend development is building everything a user sees and uses in the browser: pages, forms, dashboards and the interaction between them. Sharp Creations builds front ends in Next.js, React and TypeScript, with attention to speed (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility (WCAG). You can bring us in for a defined project or as extra React capacity alongside your own team; you get a fixed price after a call. We are based in Julianadorp (the Netherlands) and work for companies and agencies across the country, white-label too.
What you get.
From design to code
Your Figma design faithfully translated into components, on every screen size.
A component library
Reusable components, so new pages are faster and more consistent.
A Next.js application
Pages rendered on the server, with routing and SEO data per page.
Built accessible
WCAG 2.2 level AA as the baseline: semantic HTML, keyboard, focus, contrast and labels.
Fast
Core Web Vitals measured during the build and at delivery.
Tested and documented
Tests on the key flows, notes in the repository, code that is yours.
Next.js, React, Core Web Vitals and accessibility.
React and Next.js
React is a library for building interfaces from components: a button, a card or a form you reuse everywhere. Next.js is the framework around it: it renders pages on the server, so they appear fast and are easy to find, and handles routing, images and caching. With TypeScript we catch many errors while building.
Core Web Vitals
Google measures visitor experience with three numbers: LCP (how quickly the largest element appears; good is under 2.5 seconds), INP (how quickly the page responds to a click or tap; good is under 200 milliseconds) and CLS (how much the layout shifts; good is under 0.1). We measure with real-user data where available, and with Lighthouse while building. The gains usually come from less JavaScript, smart loading of images and fonts, and server-rendered pages.
Accessibility
We build accessible, with WCAG 2.2 level AA as the baseline: semantic HTML, everything operable by keyboard, a visible focus, sufficient contrast, and labels on form fields and error messages. Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act applies to, among others, online stores and banking services.
Working with your team
We work in your repository and follow your code conventions: linting, reviews and branches. Every change comes as a pull request with an explanation, so your team can follow along and take over later.
Project or extra capacity?
- A defined project. For example a new front end for your web app, a marketing site in Next.js or renewing an old React app. You get a fixed price per project.
- Extra capacity. React capacity that joins your sprints. Availability and price are agreed in a call.
- For agencies. We build white-label, under your name, and do not approach your clients. You get a fixed price per job within 1 working day.

What we have built.
This website is our own frontend work: Next.js and React, bilingual, with its own CMS and measured on Core Web Vitals. Part of our frontend work for agencies is white-label; we do not name those clients. Other projects are on cases, such as the custom online store of Hondenvoeding Texel.
What drives the price.
We price frontend development after a call. What determines the price:
- the number of screens and components;
- how complete the design is, and whether there is a design system;
- integrations with APIs and the state of your back end;
- requirements for accessibility and testing;
- a new codebase, or building on an existing one.
All amounts we quote are excl. VAT.
You talk to the developers.
No account manager in between. Call, message or email; you usually get an answer within one working day.
