In short

What is a HubSpot CMS migration?

A HubSpot CMS migration moves your website to HubSpot: pages, blog and images come along, every old URL gets a 301 redirect and your forms become HubSpot forms that land straight in your CRM. Sharp Creations does this from Julianadorp, the Netherlands, for businesses and, white-label, for agencies. The price starts from €3,500 excl. VAT for a small, simple website. You always get a fixed price up front, and after go-live we check for 404s and indexing.

Platforms

From which platform?

WordPress to HubSpot

The most requested move, with attention to plugins, custom fields and forms.

WORDPRESS

Webflow to HubSpot

CMS collections become HubDB tables or blog posts, the design becomes a theme.

WEBFLOW

Wix or Squarespace

Moving content and images and tidying up the URL structure, with a redirect per page.

WIX & SQUARESPACE

Drupal or a custom CMS

We fetch the content through an export or API and rebuild the page types in HubSpot.

CUSTOM

Old HubSpot templates to a theme

From separate drag-and-drop templates to a modern theme with modules, on the same URLs.

HUBSPOT

From one theme to another

New design, same portal: converting page by page without losing content.

HUBSPOT
Keeping SEO

How you keep your Google rankings.

Google knows your pages at their old address. If that address changes without a redirect, the page starts from zero for Google. So with every migration we do this:

  1. Inventory. We collect every URL from your current site, your sitemap and Search Console, including old pages that still get traffic or links.
  2. URL mapping. Every old URL gets a new destination. Where possible, the address stays the same.
  3. 301 redirects in HubSpot, tested before the domain moves.
  4. Metadata and schema carried over: titles, meta descriptions, alt text, canonical tags and structured data.
  5. Go-live: submitting the new sitemap in Search Console and having the key pages crawled.
  6. Checks after go-live: we look at 404 reports and indexing, and fix problems.

Forms

Forms, tracking and CRM.

A migration is the moment to connect your forms properly. Old forms become HubSpot forms that add submissions to the CRM as contacts, with the right properties. We set up the HubSpot tracking code, your cookie banner and Google Analytics in one go, so your measurement continues. If you use integrations with other systems, we move them over or rebuild them.

How we work

How a migration runs.

  1. 01

    Migration scan

We map pages, templates, forms, integrations and SEO: what has to come along, what can go.

  2. 02

    Fixed price and planning

You get scope, price and a go-live date. We separate migration and redesign where we can.

  3. 03

    Build and move

Theme and templates in HubSpot, content in, redirects ready, everything tested on a test domain.

  4. 04

    Go-live and monitoring

Domain moved, sitemap submitted and then checks on 404s and indexing.

Prices

What does a migration to HubSpot CMS cost?

SizeWhat’s includedFrom (excl. VAT)
SmallUp to about 15 pages, standard forms, no custom fields€3,500
CompleteBlog, forms, custom theme and more page types€7,500
Large or customMultilingual, HubDB, hundreds of pages or integrationsprice after a call

What drives the price: the number of page types (not the number of pages), custom fields that need to go to HubDB, the size of your blog archive, multiple languages, integrations with other systems, and whether the design stays the same or becomes new.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Ask your question
Will I lose my Google rankings?
We make sure Google finds your pages at their new address: every old URL gets a 301 redirect, metadata and schema come along, and after go-live we check for 404s and indexing. Nobody can promise a position in Google.
How long does a migration to HubSpot CMS take?
A small site usually takes 3 to 5 weeks, a complete migration 6 to 10 weeks, including testing and SEO checks. The fixed price states the go-live date.
Can we do a redesign at the same time?
We can, but it raises the risk. It’s often smarter to migrate first and renew in a second round. We’ll discuss what suits your situation.
What happens to my WooCommerce shop?
WooCommerce doesn’t move one-to-one to HubSpot CMS. Usually you choose a separate shop (for example Shopify) and we connect it to HubSpot for your marketing.
Can you convert old HubSpot templates into a theme?
Yes. Your pages keep their URLs and content, and your team gets modern modules it can fill in itself.
Do you also do migrations white-label for agencies?
Yes. We migrate under your name and don’t approach your client. See white-label HubSpot development.
Do I actually need to move to HubSpot CMS?
Not necessarily. If your current site works well, we can also connect it to HubSpot CRM. Migrating mainly pays off if you want your website, forms and follow-up in one system.
