Guests see what’s available and what it costs per season, and send a request or book directly with you. For Alto Club Apartments, holiday apartments in Alvor on the Algarve, we built a bilingual site (Dutch and English) with a page per apartment and a clear “Book now” route.

Direct booking alongside the platforms
Keep the platforms, and rent out directly too.
Booking platforms bring guests, but charge a commission per booking. Every guest who books directly with you saves you that. It doesn’t have to be either/or: most hosts keep the platforms for new guests and let returning guests, and anyone who finds them on Google, book directly.
What’s technically possible depends on what you use now. We check that first, so you don’t get double bookings and don’t have to enter anything twice.

Multilingual
A real German version, not a translate button.
On the Dutch coast and on Texel you see many German guests. They search in German, for terms like “Ferienhaus Texel” or “Ferienwohnung Julianadorp”. An automatic translate button isn’t found on those terms and reads awkwardly. So we build a real German version with its own titles and copy, plus an English one for the rest of Europe.
You manage all languages yourself in the same CMS. Change a price or a photo and it’s right in every language.

Yes. With a request form on your own site (Complete), or with direct booking and online payment through an integration (Custom). Which fits best depends on how much you rent out and what you use now.
Does my calendar stay in sync with the booking platforms?
That’s the aim. Often through an iCal link, or via the channel manager you already use. What’s possible differs per platform and system; we check it up front, so you don’t get double bookings.

Can the site be in German and English?
Yes, and on the coast and Texel we recommend it. We build a real German and English version with their own copy, not an automatic translation. You manage all languages in the same CMS.
How do I get found for “holiday home” plus my village?

Does my registration number need to be on the site?
That depends on your municipality: for tourist rentals a registration number may be required. Check with your municipality; this isn’t legal advice. If it applies to you, we put it on your site properly.
Can you build in winter, so everything is ready for spring?
Yes, that’s a good moment. A Starter site is usually live within 2 weeks, a complete site in 4 to 6 weeks. Start in winter and everything is ready when guests plan their summer.
